Cake Baking
By: M14Mouse
Summary: Dean and Sam are baking a cake. Do I need to say more?
Show:  Supernatural
Disclaimer: Don’t own them at all.

“Dean, stop eating the flowers.”

“I’m hungry.”

“We just ate like five minutes ago.”

“So? Your girly flowers look too good not to eat.”

Sam rolled his eyes when back to working on the cake.

“You aren’t supposed to eat it. It is for the ghost.”

“Why does the ghost get the cake?”

“Because you ate the pie.”

“The pie was too good to be for that ghost.”

“That is why I am baking a cake.”

“Why can’t we get another pie?”

“Because you would eat that too?”

“I won’t this time, I promise. Cross my heart.”
He snorted at his brother. He didn’t know it was because Dean is more likely to eat the pie before it got to the house or the fact that Dean made a promise not to eat a pie.

“So…where did you learn how to make the girly flowers?”

He sighed to himself as the little memory rose from his mind. Quickly, he pulled it aside. This wasn’t the time or the place.

“It is called being a poor college student that wanted to impress his girlfriend for her birthday.”

“….You didn’t give her food poisoning, did you?”

“You can’t get food poisoning from icing unless….”

“Geek.”

“Jerk.”

“Bitch.”

“At least, I know I won’t kill anyone when I cook.”

“I remember a time that…”

“You helped.”

“I was assisting, dude.”

He snorted as he watched Dean scooped and eat another flower off the cake.

“I’m never going to finish this cake.”

“Good cake.”

He sighed as he bended over again to make another flower. Maybe, he should point out there is a tv in the living room. Great way to distant Dean.

“What are you doing?”

He didn’t need to look up from the cake when he heard a familiar voice. And the familiar cursing from Dean. He glanced up from the cake to Cas. Castiel tilted his head if he was trying to figure out what they were doing.

“Damn it Cas, don’t you know how to use a doorbell?”

“I thought we were still teaching him about the cellphone.”

Castiel just blinked at them then stared at the cake.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m making a cake to lurk a ghost out that currently haunting a bakery. The ghost popped up when someone brings fresh bake goods. There was a pie but Dean ate it.”

“Ah…”

“Here is an idea. Why don’t you decorate the cake while I put more minutes on your phone?” He said as he handled the icing tube to Cas. Castiel blinked at him in confusion.

“But the voice said my minutes were fine.”

“Yes…I am just going to make sure it stays that way.”

He stepped away from the cake and Cas. He didn’t want to push his luck. Cas squeezed the tube and he nearly jumped when icing came out.

“You sure that was a good idea?” Dean whispered.

“Would you rather him try to figure out the coffee maker again?”

“….Good point.”

End

A/N: Funny enough, this was based on a dream I had. Don't ask why. Complete random, I know. I still thought it would make an amusing story and it did. It is a pity I couldn't add some of the other details from the dream. If they are a little OOC, I just started watching this season. Sooo...but I am working on it. Anyway, I hope my f-list enjoys it. Read and Review if you wish.
